Hypnosis utilizes a very natural yet powerful technique of progressive relaxation that allows you to take control of your life and build a brighter, more positive future. The conscious mind is set aside so that the subconscious mind is more receptive to positive suggestions. This allows physical and emotional challenges to be addressed and resolved so that the mind/body balance can be restored or improved. A series of repeated instructions are spoken by the hypnotherapist to allow the client to achieve a deep state of relaxation. As you become more deeply relaxed, the conscious mind is less active and the subconscious is free to explore psychological or emotional issues, improving mental and/or physical health or eliminating negative behavior or habits. Changes may manifest almost immediately because through the increased strength and focus of your subconscious mind you are in control and are aware of the positive aspects that these changes will create. Hypnotherapy is about helping and improving yourself and is very different from stage hypnosis where people do things that are silly or embarrassing. This same process may be used to travel back in time to encounter, heal and release memories from early infancy or childhood, or even past lives. Regression therapy can be remarkably effective in healing current emotional or even physical challenges that have been resistant to more traditional therapies. Sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the client, with a minimum of 60 minutes to 120 minutes for regression therapy.
